-General info-SRC is a clothing and item shop run by me, Sam :)
In this shop I sell cyanotype prints on clothing.Cyanotypes are a form of photography that uses the sun and chemicals to print on various mediums. In this instance, I use fabric.Since each product is hand made by me, not one item is the exact same as another. This means that there will also be imperfections but that is all part of the art!When you purchase a clothing item, you will receive a card explaining the washing and cleaning process of the item but I will list that information here as-well.
- Like many other dyes, cyanotypes will eventually fade, in order to maintain the state in which you received the item, try to wash the item as least as possible. When washing, use a non phosphatedetergent (most common detergents are) do not wash with soap or your item will be discolored after washing.
I recommend hand washing with non phosphate detergent and throwing it in the dryer afterwards for best results!!
